Numbivo calculators are provided for information, orientation, comparison and scenario planning. We take reasonable care when preparing formulas, code and explanations, but a calculator can only work with the model, assumptions and values supplied to it. We do not promise that every result will always be error-free, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.

Incorrect or incomplete inputs, a wrong unit, rounding, simplified assumptions, regional differences, changed prices or rules, manufacturer-specific conditions, and software or content errors can all make a result inaccurate or unsuitable for the situation you are analysing.

Read the assumptions on the individual calculator page

Many Numbivo calculators include their own assumptions, limitations, input guidance, plausibility checks or notes about the data source. Those page-specific notes are part of the calculation and should be read together with this general disclaimer.

If a calculator labels a result as an estimate, approximation or planning value, do not treat the displayed number as a measured, certified or guaranteed real-world value. A general reference factor may also be less appropriate than current manufacturer data, a contract, an official tariff or a project-specific value.

Check important results before relying on them

Review the entered values, units, selected options, formula and stated assumptions. For an important decision, compare the result with current official documents, contracts, product information, standards, manufacturer documentation or another independent calculation.

If a decision could materially affect health, safety, property, legal rights or finances, obtain advice or verification from a suitably qualified professional. A displayed number is not an approval, quotation, guarantee, certification, diagnosis, engineering design, compliance assessment or promise of a real-world outcome.

No individual professional advice

Numbivo content is general information. It does not constitute legal, tax, financial, investment, medical, engineering, architectural, energy-certification or other regulated professional advice, and use of the website does not by itself create a professional-client or advisory relationship.

A calculator cannot account for every individual fact, local requirement, contract term, product condition or professional duty. Where a regulated decision or formal assessment is required, use the appropriate qualified person or official procedure.

Prices, tariffs, rules and technical data can change

Energy tariffs, taxes, subsidies, construction requirements, product specifications, interest rates and other external data can change over time and can differ by country, region, supplier or product. User-editable prices and assumptions are intentionally provided in many calculators so that current local values can be entered.

Check the source, date, jurisdiction and unit of any time-sensitive value before using it. A value that was reasonable when a page was prepared may no longer match your current situation.

If a page provides a source note, formula, worked example or limitation, use that information to understand what the result does and does not represent rather than relying on the headline number alone.
