Cookie & Browser Storage Policy
Current as of 18 September 2026. Numbivo uses browser storage and a necessary first-party session cookie for website operation, as well as Google Analytics where analytics consent is given. Advertising technologies such as Google AdSense may also be used when enabled and permitted by the visitor's consent choices and applicable law.

PHPSESSID is independent of Google Analytics and optional advertising technologies. It is not controlled by the analytics choice and Numbivo does not use it for audience measurement, advertising or advertising personalisation.
The full saved calculation is not sent to the Numbivo server by the local-save feature. A separate minimal server-side event log records only that a save occurred, together with calculator path/name, time and module version.
Google Analytics uses measurement ID G-W7BD98HN03. Its external tag is blocked by default and is loaded on eligible content, category and listing pages only after analytics consent. Numbivo legal and privacy pages never load the Analytics tag. The exact cookies visible can vary with browser restrictions, settings and later changes made by Google.
2. Necessary, analytics and advertising technologies
Necessary/functional storage supports a feature requested by the user or website operation. Analytics measures site usage and is not required to perform a calculation. Advertising/marketing can deliver, limit, personalise and measure ads where permitted.
Google Analytics is available only after an affirmative analytics choice. Rejecting optional technologies leaves the Analytics tag blocked and does not prevent use of the calculators. Where advertising technologies such as Google AdSense are enabled, the consent interface and this policy should describe the categories and vendors relevant to the configuration actually in use.
3. Google Analytics and advertising technologies
When Google Analytics is loaded, the browser communicates with Google and may send the page URL, IP address, browser/device details, referrer and page-view or related event information. Google Analytics may set or read the analytics cookies listed above. Numbivo uses the resulting statistics to understand traffic sources, popular content, navigation and technical quality.
If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, Google and authorised advertising vendors may place or read cookies or use technologies such as local storage, web beacons and IP addresses to serve or measure ads, prevent fraud and, where permitted, personalise advertising. Where permitted, Google’s advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to select ads based on visits to Numbivo and/or other sites. Personalised advertising can be managed or disabled in Google My Ad Center. Other advertising vendors, if used, are disclosed through the applicable consent interface. The technologies actually used depend on the deployed advertising configuration, consent choices and applicable law.

4. Giving, refusing and withdrawing consent
The privacy interface provides controls for optional technologies without preselecting analytics. The categories and choices shown should reflect the optional services actually deployed at that time. The website remains usable after optional technologies are refused, and the footer’s “Privacy settings” control can be used to review the saved choice. When analytics consent is active, it includes a direct “Withdraw analytics” action.
After withdrawal, Numbivo disables further collection for measurement ID G-W7BD98HN03 and removes Numbivo cookies beginning with _ga. You can also block or delete cookies in the browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Where the selected advertising configuration requires a certified consent solution or a renewed choice for a particular region, that setup should be completed before the corresponding consent-dependent advertising technology is enabled.
